               NICK RICHMOND 

 

Nick lives in Brighton having lived in many parts of the country before deciding that the the sea is the place to be . He studied drama in the Midlands when he was young and has been in all sorts of amateur productions . Nick keeps busy with his job in education and his guided tour business based in Brighton . He started the Theatre Of The Air company in January 2015 and hopes to see it flourish into a global phenomenon ( or at least get into the local papers ) .

 

 

              SASCHA COOPER

 

Sascha Cooper is a professional actress, dancer, psychic medium, writer and media hair and makeup artist in Brighton. She's always loved performing and through various school work, Lamda exams, university and the Courtyard Theatre in London, managed to start what was to be an exciting path for her. She co-owns Crimson Horse Theatre Company in Brighton and has directed and produced 4 stage shows to date with them. The next stage is to break into radio acting after having had several presenting roles for local radio. She joined Theatre of the Air to build her voicereel, as well as enjoy more vocal challenges and try directing radio plays.
 

 

           ADRIAN FIGGESS

 

Adrian Figgess wasn't born in Brighton but moved here twice to make up for it.  He sings folksong with the South Downs Folk Singers, is a key member of the Napier Quire, acts on stage when he can get away with it and is delighted to be part of the Theatre of the Air.  He retired by accident after a life in the BBC, Granada, the BFI - and Brighton Borough Council (amongst others).  He believes that the T of the A (TOTA) is finally going to launch his long-awaited bid for stardom.  Maybe.

 

 

              FIONA HARDY 

 

Fiona Hardy lives in Hove, where the seaside reminds her of her life in Australia (except for those pebbles and the weather).  As a criminal lawyer and, more recently, a language teacher, acting and performance have formed a major role in her professional life.  She has also been involved since her school days in amateur dramatics.  She brings an antipodean element to Brighton Theatre of the Air. 

          NATALIE FOSTER

 

Brightonian Natalie Foster joined Theatre Of The Air at its early stages in the winter of 2015. Inspired by the opportunity to venture into character play without the pressure of learning lines and acting in front of an audience, recording audio was an appealing activity to get involved in. “Getting together to make something creative happen builds an excitement and camaraderie that is out of the ordinary, I have met some wonderful people and had lots of laughs along the way”.

 

 

 

      CHRISTINE BARKER 

 

Christine Barker started out in the media world as a copywriter and journalist - working for a local newspaper, an advertising agency and then a record company. She went on to train and assess teachers and students in English as an international language. This allows her to indulge her twin passions of language and travelling. Chris does voiceovers and has produced a relaxation CD called Time to Sleep. She joined Theatre of The Air in January 2015. She also plays the ukelele and is a member of the awsemoly named " Ukes Of Hassocks "
